Unlimited monthly data on board is now available on Gogo‘s Biz 4G air-to-ground network. The option is one of three new pricing plans added to the company’s portfolio as it continues to see increased demand for higher bandwidth use cases, including streaming video services, from its business jet customers.
Others in business aviation claim to offer unlimited streaming and unlimited data, but when you read the fine print, you find they are limited to a single video stream and have other exceptions. At Gogo, with our new unlimited plan, data is data and unlike competitors, we don’t put limitations on any of it.
– Jim MacDougall, Gogo’s vice president for product management
Access to unlimited data in the sky does not come cheap, however. The Gogo Biz 4G Limitless plan prices at $9,995 per month.
In addition to the unlimited streaming and data plan, Gogo now offers two new high data plans: Gogo Biz 4G 20000 with 20GB of data, and Gogo Biz 4G 25000 with 25GB of data.

All three plans are available to Gogo AVANCE L5 customers. The 20GB and 25GB streaming plans are a continuation of Gogo’s existing service offerings and will use the same policies as the current Gogo Biz 4G 5GB, 10GB and 15GB plans. The plans are priced at $5,650 per month ($0.50/MB overage) and $6,495 per month ($0.45/MB overage), respectively.
The new plans are available to jet owners with the AVANCE L5 system on board. And while the companies are able to offer streaming-performance capacity on the existing network there are much higher hopes for what the Gogo 5G network will deliver when it finally goes live. The AVANCE L5 platform provides a (relatively) seamless upgrade path to the 5G offering, with identical mount points for the antenna hardware, easing the process.

The new, higher priced and higher performance plans also boost Gogo’s efforts to realize a long-term revenue target of at least 10% compounded annually from 2020 to 2025. As part of that Gogo targets approximately 8% aircraft online growth and approximately 3% average service revenue per unit online growth through the period.
The new plan is not available for corporate shuttle and fleet customers.
