About this event
- 1 day 20 hours
Outhouse Fest takes place on Ohana Farms, a decommissioned small craft air field that has been turned into an active farm with agriculture and livestock, including a dog rescue (which unfortunately means attendess are not permitted to bring their own dogs under any circumstances).
The main stage is built in the corner of an airplane hangar that provides a large indoor area to enjoy the music. We feature 20 bands across 2 days, Each day starting with folk/country and escalating to punk rock.
Vehicle and tent camping are available and included with the purchase of tickets.
We are currently working out the details with food trucks, but we aim to have food on site with vegan and gluten free options.
Frequently asked questions
Camping is included with all ticket sales
Taking place on a farm, the amenities are limited. There are several outhouses, some in the camping area, some beside the hangar where music takes place. There are no showers or sinks on site, however Port Browning Marina is a 10 minute walk away and has coin operated showers.
Outhouse has its own vegan burrito kitchen that operates through the day, and a late night noodle bar.
There is a public tap to fill water bottles on site. It is well water and has been tested and approved for safe consumption.
While people in wheelchairs have attended events here in the past, the event takes place on a large grass field, presenting too many obstacles for us to comfortably call it accessible. If you would like more information on this please send us an email and we can arrange a video walkthrough
Ohana farms is just a 5 minute walk to the local town centre, there you will find a restaurant, coffee shops, grocery store, liquor store, and pharmacy. Another 5 minutes down the road is the pub. With a restaurant, showers, and a large beach
Pender island has ambulance service, and an emergency clinic. Outhouse Festival also has a team of paramedics, and a harm reduction team on site
