So here’s the “Good Content!” logo for the (new) upcoming newsletter. Whaddya think? I’m launching this newsletter in just a couple of weeks. (I also have some exciting sponsorship updates to announce soon, too.) It’ll be my exploration into the details of making good content. In other words, forget keyword rankings, conversion rates, organic traffic, etc., –– how do we actually make good content to begin with? As I’ve said here many times over, the best distribution channel is making the content good. So, how? What does that even mean? That’s been a career-long exploration for me––learning through experience, learning from others, reading, studying, researching, etc. Now, I’ll be sharing with everyone as I go. I’m pumped. I’ve shared the subscribe link in the comments below––I hope you’ll join me. P.S. I got in my head about the title. Should it be called “The Good Content Newsletter”, or is that too on the nose? How about “Good Content Rules?” Nah, that betrays the explorative nature of this whole thing. Finally, after a brief convo with Emily Triplett Lentz, she said (I'm paraphrasing), “dude, you’re overthinking this. Just called it “Good Content!” So here we are! (Thanks, Emily.) *This free newsletter will live separately from the SGC paid community which will continue to feature insider interviews, content frameworks/processes/templates, and access to the Facebook community of ~700 content marketers.
