Sarah Ebner will begin as the new head of newsletters at the Financial Times in London the week of April 12. She's spent the last three years at The Telegraph as head of email and editorial newsletters, setting up their newsletter department in 2018, and expanding her role last summer to consult on marketing, subscription, and other emails, too.

Sarah launched over 25 newsletters and improved open rates, action rates and subscriptions at The Telegraph: subscriptions from newsletters rose by over 1,500 per cent from 2018 to the end of 2020. Over her career, she's been a national newspaper reporter, sports editor, feature writer, television producer and written an award-winning education blog, before turning to newsletters.
