TechNexus, a venture investment firm, has assumed management of Podfund, the first venture company dedicated to investing in creator-led podcasting and media ventures. Jake Shapiro is out a President.
Podfund was started in 2019 by Jake Shapiro to support content creation. In the eighteen months since being founded, Shapiro and GM Nicola Korzenko amassed a portfolio of nineteen ventures in the podcasting and audio space, including content and creative studios such as Pushkin Industries and QCode. TechNexus was an early investor in Podfund

Podfund will continue as a separate entity.
