Respect to the Decathlon team who worked so hard on their v1, but for me the initiative prompts reflection. Surely we must go beyond repackaging old experiences, is this any better than VRML in a browser in the Noughties? I would rather we are pushing to create unique, impactful moments that truly enhance our lives. I can’t wait to see when we have a genuine breakthrough use case for the Vision Pro

This looks like an innovation challenge project that big corporates launch to show they engage in innovation, that actually might not serve useful value but serves the corporation to state they are offering new customer experiences through cutting edge tech. So now people visiting Decathlon will wear Apple vision pro to get virtual buying experiences in physical stores or Decathlon somehow expects regular budget consumers that are Decathlons target will own a $4k headset that is not even designed for consumers to own these at home and then use Decathlon app to order through it? Who comes up with these ideas? Or Decathlon is simply riding on Vision Pro wave to show they themselves are innovating?
