Can you briefly introduce yourself and your core business values?

Discoup is among the first companies in Italy and it is established in the Affiliate sector and in particular in the world of discount codes and offers. Our story begins in 2013 with piucodicisconto.com and in a very short time we established ourselves as market leaders.

We can enclose Discoup’s values in reliability, versatility and innovation.

We are reliable because we have chosen the path of transparency towards users, in fact, all the discount codes and offers published on our websites are verified and working. This has allowed us to gain people’s loyalty in a concrete way.

The versatility of our actions translates into the ability to reach extra traffic from different channels. We attract the attention of users interested in saving money thanks to discount codes, but we also reach customers interested in special events such as Sales, Back to School and Black Friday. In many of these events, we are the only Italian publisher to be able to guarantee a flow of users ready to purchase.

Innovation: mobile traffic is increasing and ensuring a UX is essential for this market. That’s why in 2019 we launched the Discoup App for both Android and Apple, which has over 150,000 users.

Not forgetting the physical shops: a service that we have been offering for 3 years now is Drive to Store, a system capable of disseminating discount codes and/or offers online and then making them redeemable in physical shops.

 

How is your company different from a traditional affiliate partner?

There are many features that differentiate us from our competitors. These include the Discoup App where the user – in addition to finding discount codes and offers – has the ability to save them as favourites. Another peculiarity is the Offer Alert system which allows the user to stay up to date on all the news of the Discoup world with offers that are always relevant to the user’s interests. Finally, there are unique Discount Codes in order to track the conversions of each of them.

 

Tell us more about your audience and what types of advertisers you work best with?

Our target traffic is very wide, heterogeneous, strongly interested in online shopping and saving money. So anyone who reflects these features is a candidate to be our ideal user!

In the same way, there are no more suitable partners for Discoup than others, we can in fact work with any e-commerce.

Our users are very receptive to discount codes and offers, so an advertiser willing to offer incentives of this type will be in front of millions of users ready to buy: 1 user in 10 who browses our sites takes concrete action.

 

What would you say are the biggest benefits for an advertiser working with you?

Flexibility, speed and availability are just some of the characteristics that distinguish us.

Working with Discoup means giving brands visibility on four Italian and one English site, thus reaching users who don’t know the brand yet. Our clients can count on the creation of a strategy based on their needs and on reaching a large number of users. All this thanks to our database which has over 1 million users subscribed to the newsletter service, 150 thousand app users and 100 thousand subscribers to the push notification service.

 

Any new functionality or idea you would like to share with the advertisers? Is there anything else you’d like our advertisers to know?

How long have you worked in the affiliate marketing space and How long have you had a relationship with Tradedoubler?

Discoup has been working in the affiliation sector since 2013 and it is precisely in this year that our collaboration with Tradedoubler – fundamental support for our growth – was born.

 

Where do you think is the Affiliate space heading to in the next year and what are the main market disruptions?

The world of affiliate marketing is certainly growing and constantly evolving. Just as we did with the creation of the App and the Drive to Store project, we strive day by day to understand and anticipate market trends.

We firmly believe that there are no real problems but rather opportunities to make our business increasingly transparent and built on the needs of users. The complexity in the coming years will be in finding functional solutions for this purpose.

 

What makes you an exciting company?

Discoup is made up of a young and dynamic team (our average age is 30 years), which has a decade of experience in the sector. This allows us to have an excellent knowledge of the market and a large audience of loyal and ready-to-buy users. In addition to this, we differ from our competitors because we offer innovative tailor-made solutions and we are always available for a constructive discussion.

 

What is one fun fact about you?

There are two characteristics in particular that make the environment at Discoup sparkling: the first is that our team is made up of 75% women; the second is that in a market highly centralised in Milan, our headquarter is located in Vicenza, a beautiful city in Veneto known for its elegant buildings designed by Andrea Palladio. Our young and lean structure allows us to be close to Italian e-commerce, understanding their needs and offering solutions suitable for everyone.

 

Any exciting plans coming up in the next 12 months?

Anyone who already knows us will agree that we at Discoup cannot stand still!

In addition to the main Discoup.com website, we manage four other white labels. All of them, without exception, are giving us great satisfaction and this leads us to want to develop even more.

Furthermore, given the great success of the launch of our App, we plan to reach 500,000 users in downloads in the next twelve months.

The news in Discoup does not end here: during the year we will tell you about other projects to which we are dedicating a lot of energy and time.

 

Are you looking at the affiliate market abroad?

Growth and expansion into new markets, particularly foreign ones, is a very specific goal at Discoup. In this regard, our English and American sites are constantly evolving and updating.

To achieve this goal, we are happy to announce that we will soon be opening in Spain.
