New communications evaluation guidance from the Government Communication Service! - https://lnkd.in/e4zz2Mbc Effective and honest evaluation is the key to improving your communications. Our new and improved GCS evaluation cycle reflects changing audiences, data standards, media consumption and digital advances. Most importantly it emphasises that evaluation should be a continuous cycle of measurement, learning and improvement - not something that is done once at the start and end of campaigns. It’s relevant for low cost and no cost communications as well as paid campaigns and it’s for every communication discipline. Thank you to Professor Kevin Money of Henley Business School, Neil Wholey, Dr Becky Tatum, and Clement Yeung for their work in developing the new evaluation cycle. #communications #evaluation #measurement #insight
Love the emphasis on cycle and that evaluation is not just something to do afterwards (which is by far the biggest mistake we see people making, whether it's potential clients or training delegates),
I love the fact that this is for all communication techniques / disciplines and can be applied to low cost / no cost communications as well as paid campaigns.
Congratulations to you and the team on the guidance update; it’s no small effort to produce this resource. Isolating learning and innovation in a separate stage will definitely provide clarity for some stakeholders. Well done. 🥂
Look forward to getting into this with the team!
This looks great Simon, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for posting
