I've built two newsletters to 100k+ subscribers. And there's a strategy I've used that I don't hear anyone talk about. Here's how it works: Your about page is one of the most-visited pages on your website. (Especially for people that are already on your site) Even better: The people that go to your about page usually like you. Which means they’re PRIMED to subscribe. So I recommend putting at least one email sign-up form on your about page. For example, James Clear includes a form at the bottom of his about page. Our about page on Exploding Topics is on the long side… so I use two forms. The exact placement of the forms doesn't matter. All you need to do is add at least one form to your about page. And watch your subscriber numbers go up. 👍🏻

Best part you can use https://seizelead.com/ for the same.
Nice concept brain, those who visit your website already know your worth. Making them sign up won't take time. While the one just viewing needs to be convinced with the content he addresses.
I totally agree with you Brian Dean. In addition to this, I would say that it is important to address the painpoint of your prospect when writing your about page. Don't just focus on the features of your products or services but tell the prospect that you know the challenges they are facing with their business and you've got the perfect solution to solve it. And watch your subscriber numbers go up (as Brian said).
A surprisingly simple strategy worth trying. I am keen to know how the outcome of this has been over a period - as to on average how many subscribers were you able to gain per week or month using the about us page form at Exploding Topics.
You're right. I often search for newsletters on About Us page. But many businesses and brands don't have a link there. You'd only find the newsletter's link under any of their posts. I don't know how they do that but they sure have a A+ in stressing people like me.
No doubt leveraging the power of about page can yield a lot of benefits.

1yThank you. Never really thought about the about page for this purpose but it is so obvious 🤦♂️ Do you have any numbers on how much of your signups that come from the about page for either of your newsletters?
