2020 Speaker call

Our popular speaker program is now open for submissions to Nordic Game 2020, 27-29 May and 25-27 November in Malmö, Sweden.

Nordic Game 2020 speaker sessions will be roughly divided into three areas: main program, post-mortems and Fast Track. Choose the focus of the talk you’d like to submit according to the categories below and complete the application form.

Note: The current application deadline is 4 March, 2020 (exception: Fast Track deadline is 27 March), though more information about the programs in May and November will be announced soon.

Main program
The main speaker sessions at Nordic Game (45 minutes, including optional Q&A) will consist of talks from industry experts in the following areas: tech, programming, production, art and design.

The pending list for this type of talk is very long and competition for available slots is fierce, so send us the strongest title and talk description possible!

Apply here (deadline 4 March).

Post-Mortem
A new addition to the Nordic Game program, post-mortems (45 minutes, including optional Q&A) will focus solely on developed/finished/published titles (all genres and formats).

Guide the Nordic Game audience through your experiences to help them improve their own creations. Only the most engaging, fact-based talks will be selected.

Apply here (deadline 4 March).

Fast Track
Fast Track talks offer concise, “to-the-bone” content featuring unique “lessons-learned” and useful advice (25 minutes, including optional Q&A).

Share your insights! We don’t expect you to be an expert speaker; your knowledge and experience are the most important factors. We’ll be happy to provide guidance on how to best to convey your message to the audience (a very friendly crowd) at Nordic Game.

Apply here (deadline 27 March).

Bonus – Partner submissions
Nordic Game would not be celebrating its seventeenth edition without the tremendous support of our sponsors and partners.

Would you like to support Nordic Game and contribute your valuable insights to the program? Download the Nordic Game 2020 Opportunities brochure right here and contact Teddy Florea here for some great partnership opportunities, including participation the conference program (deadline 4 March).

All submissions will be considered by the Nordic Game 2020 editorial board and applicants contacted as their talks are reviewed. Good luck!
