Free Peeping

Peepeth is now free

Most blockchain-based apps require cryptocurrency to use. On Peepeth, you can now sign up and peep for free.

How does it work?

Saving your data on the blockchain used to require sending transactions, which cost ether and took time.

Now, you only have to sign those actions (free & instant), and Peepeth will take care of the rest. Signing proves that your actions (Peeps, follows, etc) originate from you.

Signing is as easy as clicking "Sign" when your Web3 provider shows you the signing popup.

Peepeth.com will then save your actions to the blockchain for you on a regular basis (about every hour), but they'll appear instantly on Peepeth.com.

You can still save your actions in the old way as well (saving them directly to the blockchain yourself).

What am I signing?

You'll notice that Peepeth asks you to sign a string of characters like this:

QmRbkCuaaiERgnR8aWG9Zf7HX9U6kBbdoFtgHFByMTrDbD

That's the location of your data on IPFS.

How long do I have to wait to sign another batch of actions?

You don't! You can resume peeping immediately, even before Peepeth has saved your last batch to the blockchain.

Can I still pay if I want to?

If you'd like to send transactions to the blockchain yourself, simply log out of your Peepeth.com account and you'll be able to peep straight to the blockchain (at your expense).
