“I worked closely with Kovid on a cloud data ingestion project. The project involved building a new data platform using an AWS stack including S3, EMR, Redshift using modern ingestion and data modelling methods with Airflow for orchestration. Kovid's responsibilities included validating the profiled data, building the data pipelines and developing the transformations used to populate the modelled data vault and dimensional layers of the data warehouse. Additional to this, Kovid played a critical role in successfully improving and developing the automation testing framework used in the data pipelines which enabled the project and developers to easily test new ELT processes prior to deployment. Overall, Kovid's engineering experience and his ability to navigate complex problems to come up with quality solutions enables him to be an extremely capable engineer and would definitely work with him again on future projects.”
