The planner has an easy-to-understand summary of the latest statistics on new cases and vaccines, and the ever changing regulations on everything from quarantining to testing around the globe.

You'll find the following included for each country:

The above guides and tools are designed to help you work out the viability of a destination. It's hoped to provide a clear overview by using data such as the vaccination rates and the latest new case figures of a country with its entry requirements plus what to expect when you return to the UK.

Individual country guides give a graphic summary of the statistics and regulations with simple colour coding. Graphs track the number of new cases over the last 10 weeks while there are also links to useful resources offering further travel advice.

You can find out how the vaccine rollout is going in the Canary Islands, for example, and check the latest new case statistics in, say, Malta or Portugal. Alternatively, discover where there's no need to quarantine on arrival and what's required when you return to the UK.

Commenting on the detailed Covid-19 travel planner, Colin Carter, director at Weather2Travel.com, said: "Booking a holiday overseas is no longer the simple endeavour it used to be. This travel planning tool will take some of the pain out of researching holiday destinations. By sharing up-to-date data, including case numbers and entry requirements, we hope this will become the go-to resource for anyone at a loss as to where they can feasibly travel to in 2021."

Data is gathered from numerous official sources including Our World in Data and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and updated regularly.

Further information such as changes to the UK traffic light lists and details on vaccine passports will be updated in due course.
