OpenAI has now released ChatGPT Team. It's potentially a game changer for business adoption of AI. It includes everything in ChatGPT Plus as well as the ability to collaborate on custom GPTs and chats. One of the early concerns about AI was models training themselves on your confidential or proprietary data. Paid AI services are solving this and ChatGPT Team doesn't train on your data. ChatGPT Team is $30 per user per month for up to 149 users, when enterprise licences kick in. That compares to $20 for ChatGPT Plus. It's not the first team ChatGPT tool as at Purposeful Relations we've been experimenting with Team-GPT for awhile. It's $20 a month for 10 users, but you pay for AI use separately by connecting your paid OpenAI API account. Unless you're a very heavy user, this is likely to be cheaper. Another benefit is it can also use Anthrophic's Claude with Google Bard soon. One challenge for business AI adoption as there are now multiple options. ChatGPT Team, Microsoft Copilot (when business licences arrive), Team-GPT, Google Duet... and then there are the traditional specialist tools such as Jasper, Hello Scribe and Rytr. One thing that is certain is that every business needs an AI plan, policies and training in place ASAP. https://sbpr.cc/NKgFE 💡 I am Stuart 🚀 Helping you modernise your PR and comms 🤖 Using AI for PR and comms 🔥 Protecting your reputation in a crisis 📈 Measuring your comms ROI Like this post? The explanation for the $10 per head extra might be that it protects your data from being included in the training model. It still seems steep for team usage and at $30 is the same as Microsoft Copilot. I'm getting lots of feedback that one of the barriers to AI adoption is cost. Companies either can't or won't increase their monthly IT costs that much. Adding Microsoft Copilot to a 365 business licence is more than the original licence. Another benefit of Team over Plus is with Plus you get 40 prompts per three hours, with Team its 100 prompts per three hours.
