“Some Scrum/Kanban teams prefer estimating the effort in terms of hours… thoughts?" In this episode, our Agile Coaches answer a question about estimating and how they would coach a team wanting to use hours. This is often a request from teams transitioning from traditional project management to more agile methods. How should we handle this as a #ScrumMaster? This is such a common issue regarding estimates. Especially when teams are first converting from traditional delivery methods to Agile. I prefer to size in story points and then at the end covert them to the actual time taken to get an idea of how my team’s story points are equating to actual hours. This usually takes few sprints to get an approximation of the conversion of points to actual hours
