One of only three homes in the state designed by famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright went back on the market over the weekend for $1.45 million, according its Trulia listing.

Known as the James Christie House and designed in 1940, the Bernardsville home is located on more than 7 acres and has been on-and-off the market since June 2016, when it was first listed for $2.2 million, according to the listing.

At around 2,700 square feet, it is the largest of the three Wright-designed homes in New Jersey, according to Curbed.

The one-story, flat-roofed home is a Usonian-style home, a design Wright explored in the latter part of his renowned career that blends a home with its landscape. The Christie House, according to the listing, is made of cypress, brick and glass.

“A remarkable home and once in a lifetime opportunity” is how the listing describes the three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom home.

Besides the distinctive architecture, the home also has a great master suite (pictured above) and two fireplaces. Since the current owners bought the home in 2015 for $1.7 million, they have made a variety of updates, including replacing the roof and electrical upgrades, according to previous reporting by NJ Advance Media.

Also on the large property is a separate artist studio and a two-car garage.

Now listed at less than $1.5 million, the home's price has been reduced three times since it was first listed more than two years ago, according to Zillow.

The home was last assessed at just over $1.2 million, according to Zillow. Property taxes for the home are $24,205 this year.

This home (pictured above) is the oldest of the three Frank Lloyd Wright homes in New Jersey. The Stuart Richardson House, a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home in Glen Ridge, sold in March 2017 for $1 million.

The third home is the J.A. Sweeton House, which was built in Cherry Hill in 1959.
