Bruno back as police board chair

John Bruno will serve another year as chair of Sault Ste. Marie Police Services Board.

He was acclaimed at a meeting Thursday.

Ian MacKenzie will return as vice-chair.

Ward 4 Coun. Marchy Bruni will sit on the community safety and police act and negotiating and grievance committees. MacKenzie volunteered to serve on the finance and budget committee. Bruni and MacKenzie will both be on the police facility planning committee.

Bruno can sit on all committees as chair.

Eva Dabutch was not at Thursday’s meeting. She’ll be invited to also join a committee.
