This may be a bad idea. It terrifies me as I write this. Because cold-asking strangers on internet for help isn't exactly what I consider as fun.

Basically, I'm building the Django equivalent of Laravel Forge or Hatchbox for Rails. Codenaming it as GreenDeployHQ.com

As of 2021-05-27 Thursday, I have spoken with 6 different Django devs on zoom for at least 30 mins. They have given me awesome feedback about their current Django development and deployment practices. I hope to talk with at least 10.

Why you building this?

You know how as a Django developer, it takes a lot of time to setup the server to be Django-ready?

What we do is provide a boilerplate server configuration that means the initial setup only takes 3 clicks so you can get started in no time and don’t have to reinvent the wheel.

In fact, there's already a equivalent of this service for other web frameworks at https://forge.laravel.com/ and https://hatchbox.io/

Okay, so why you asking for beta users?

I have failed many times in side projects when I was just pure heads down writing code and ended up building stuff nobody wants or wants badly enough to pay enough to justify the continual maintenance.

I'm trying to change this bad habit this time. Which is why I'm here seeking beta users and use their feedback to drive the development of GreenDeployHQ.

If you familiar with crossing the chasm by Geoffrey Moore, I'm basically looking for early adopters to give me feedback to improve.
