You can once again have drinks in a historic Frank Lloyd Wright house

The Frank Lloyd Wright Trust is bringing happy hours to both the Robie House and Emil Bach House

If you missed the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust’s most recent April After Hours program which invited visitors to have a drink and socialize in the architecturally significant Frederick C. Robie House in Hyde Park, don’t fret as you’ll soon have another opportunity in the coming months. Every Friday this October, the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust is bringing back their After Hours series to the Robie House. In addition, the group is also introducing a new happy hour event in September, this time at the Emil Bach House in Rogers Park.

The Emil Bach happy hour event takes place on Thursday, September 14 running from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are just $10 for Frank Lloyd Wright Trust members and $15 for non-members. Otherwise, fans of FLW will have more options in October as the happy hour at the Robie House runs each Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tickets for the Robie House After Hours program cost $30 for Frank Lloyd Wright Trust members and $35 for non-members.

Patrons will have the opportunity to enjoy drinks, listen to live music, and snack on hors d’oeuvres in landmark homes designed by Wright during the peak of his Prairie School movement. It’s certainly a series that architecture buffs don’t want to miss.
