How #developers and #QA testers perform testing activities.
I will start with one question: who QA'd this video before it was posted? This is not at all accurate for developers and engineers who actually care about the quality both of their own work and of the product they are working on. During 30+ years as an engineer doing software/firmware development, I have met plenty of folks who don't care so much about quality, but also plenty of folks who do care. I personally would rather put in the upfront time to assure the quality and maintainability of the software/firmware (and, thus, the product). This is far better than spending time later finding and fixing problems, and having to make hasty, convoluted code "fixes" due to poor design. Thankfully, I have worked with a few good engineers who were concerned with quality. I have sometimes been complained at for "taking too long", but I have also been complimented many times for the quality of my work.
Seems funny, but only till you realise that it just replicates misunderstandings and stereotypes. QA means quality assurance, so what does „QA tester”? No matter how hard you test the solution, you cannot prevent any quality issues that already exist. And what the movie shows is an example of a tester stupidly wasting time and effort on executing unrealistic scenarios. I reckon not all testers do miss the point like that, neither do any real QA.

Je ne partage pas cet avis. Peut être les mauvais développeurs. Les développeurs que je connais sont plutôt dans le test approfondi et réfléchi. Arrêtons de marginaliser le travail des développeurs. Ce sont des grands intellectuels qui réfléchissent et qui apportent la valeur ajoutée. Malheureusement en France on est toujours entrain de les marginaliser. Faut pas se plaindre de la pénurie de développeurs car on ne sait pas les traiter comme il faut
