Hello there,

Each year on the Sunday before WWDC Apple opens the Company Store on the campus in Cupertino. Getting there from San Francisco is a pain, so we get a few buses to take us there and back. The bus fare is typically around $20 per person. This form is to gauge interest in this year's pilgrimage so we can start making plans.

Filling out this form doesn't commit you to attending the pilgrimage, and your email address will not be used for nefarious purposes, or really any purposes other than contacting you later when we've made plans.

Thanks!

Previous questions and notes
 - We're still working out the details and the signup/pay page isn't posted yet. If you leave your email address on this form, we'll let you know when it is.

 - The buses will leave from Moscone at various times during the day, before and after noon. Some buses will also pick up at SFO airport.

 - The Company Store is open from 12:00 to 5:30 PM. The store is the only part of Apple that's open to us, and there is essentially nothing else to do in the neighborhood when we get there (we don't have a lot of time anyway). Except eat lunch and drink beer, of course!

 - Depending on which bus you take, the whole trip takes about 3 - 4 hours, including time in the store.

 - We're looking at the possibility of having lunch at BJ's Brewpub next to Apple, like last year.

 - Jeff says he's not doing the pilgrimage this year. :( We must go on without him.

 - Apple's WWDC site says you must be a WWDC attendee to get into the Company Store on this day (Sun. June 10th).

 - There will be time Sunday morning to get your WWDC badge before the first bus.

 - Apple's Company Store page has some general info: http://www.apple.com/companystore/

 - Alternative ways to get there: If you rent a car you can easily drive from San Francisco to Apple in about an hour. There is no public transit option that takes less than about 2 to 2.5 hours. (That's why we started this bus thing.) A taxi would cost $100 or more. Our bus fare is usually around $20.

 - For those who said you would help out, thank you! We'll get back to you.
