Let's discuss what qualifies #emailnewsletters as "need to have" vs "nice to have." Maybe something off this list? 1. It provides content you use to stay informed on topics you care about (you believe that content is better than what other sources publish?) 2. It delivers ideas from a brand (or brain) that guide your work (you know you can attribute success to reading it/following some of the advice in it) 3. The creator is entertaining in a way that improves your day (like your favorite Netflix show). You crave what they send. 4. If they suddenly stopped sending it, you would notice and check in. Can you think of others? Yes so true Ashley Guttuso. Try giving a piece of copy to someone to read: if they say "it's very nice" it means your copy sucks, because what they must say is "where do I buy?"
