It's hard to imagine the royals texting each other, let alone peppering their messages with little emojis. But during her latest "Early Years" video, Kate Middleton accidentally revealed some of her most-used icons, and they're not quite as prim and proper as you'd expect.

In the video shared to the Kensington Royal Instagram account, the Duchess of Cambridge gave a huge thank you to fans for sending in their questions “with wonderful emojis attached to them,” before flashing her iPhone screen at the camera, inadvertently exposing a few of her own favorite emojis in the process. Her most-used symbol—or at least most recently used—appears to be two girls holding hands, followed by a pineapple, sliced-up cucumber, a gust of wind, a purple alien monster, and a woman bowing emoji. But perhaps the most surprising inclusions on the list were the vomiting face and an angry face spewing a bleeped-out expletive.

The video was the latest part of the Duchess's first solo initiative launched in 2018 in collaboration with a group of experts in child development focused on addressing the mental and emotional wellness of children and the future of early childhood education in the U.K. In the video, when asked about the project she explains, “I suppose we're looking at it from pregnancy through the age of five, so through to children starting school…This isn't just about happy, healthy children. This is about the society I hope we could and can become.”

A source close to the duchess told Vanity Fair in May, “She has really been enjoying the Early Years work and has found her stride and purpose. She sees this work as a life-long commitment and she has worked really hard on this campaign.”
