Managing Director of Crawl, Founder of Keywords in Sheets, Co-Founder of Sheet Copilot, and Independent SEO Consultant
Forecasting and modelling in SEO is difficult because there's very few tools out there 😔 In the last year, and even more so recently, I've started to build a series of models that can 👇 1. Forecast organic traffic and layer the impact of target keyword clusters. 2. Model how long it takes to overtake competitors organic traffic/link growth. 3. Determine the likely impact of a piece of content / content schedule. 4. Model ROI over time. What do I use? Google Sheets as the source, various APIs, and modelling in Data Studio and Causal. Best part is, I aim to automate everything so that you'll be able to model different scenarios with up-to-date data, and see forecasts adapt over time. To do this properly I want to work with: - SEOs - Digital PRs - Copywriters for FREE to provide feedback and help me make the models as useful as possible 👍 As an example, I've put together a short video below modelling referring domains growth relative to competitors. I'm interested. Just out of curiosity, Is it resistant to Algo updates. Does it consider any fluctuations to forecast the organic traffic?
