I Need Diverse Games 2022 Dev Micro Grant application
I Need Diverse Games has benefited quite a bit from community generosity in three years of stress for the world. Thanks to your continued support and no where to travel since early 2020, We're in a position to offer a total of $10,000 to Black Game Devs that are in need of funding to work on their games.

Applications will be accepted beginning on February 2nd, 2022, and will close on February 17th, 2022, at 10:00pm Central Standard Time (US). We will aim to notify funding awardees by February 24th at the latest. Applications will be reviewed by a small committee consisting of Tanya DePass  & a group of Black developers. This review will be conducted in a manner in which we wish to avoid personal bias as much as possible.

Our qualifications for this one time award are outlined below, so please read carefully:

In order to be considered for the funding:

You must be a Black game developer of a video game or TTRPG but may need fiscal assistance to get started or continue work.

This is to benefit developers who usually don't get access to funding opportunities outside of very limited offerings. Please keep in mind that we take this very seriously, as it aligns closely with the mission of our organization. If you are unable to articulate how awarding you these funds would help your development, this may not be the opportunity for you.
