We’re hiring a data visualisation designer

Come and work with us on The Economist’s new Graphic Detail print section

The Economist has featured charts and maps for over 150 years. With around 100,000 under our belt, we’re looking for a full-time data visualisation designer to help us make some more. You’ll work closely with fellow designers and journalists to illuminate stories on the whole range of topics we cover: from finance to football and from chickens to China.

Our data-journalism team produces all of the charts, maps and diagrams for the web, our apps and the print newspaper—including our award-winning Graphic Detail section. If you’d like to join us at our Central London office and help illustrate our data on the page, please get in touch at the email address below.
