Retrofit Training Launched for Construction Professionals
There is a growing and urgent need for retrofit, but progress is being held back by a lack of specialist skills across the construction sector. At People Powered Retrofit, we're tackling this skills gap with retrofit courses for all members of the industry to learn the fundamentals of this crucial retrofit work.
The 2-day Retrofit Fundamentals course is taught by People Powered Retrofit's team, who bring their experience working in domestic retrofit into the course.
Peer learning is a key element of the course. By bringing together construction professionals from a range of backgrounds - from joiners to architects, and site managers to retrofit consultants - the training breaks down barriers between parts of the supply chain, enables participants to make connections, and helps to build a network of retrofitters that carries on beyond the classroom.

In-person courses will take place at The Boiler House in Moss Side, Manchester. This community workshop has step-free access and is easily reached on public transport.
The training is also available as an online course, with 2-hour webinars delivered at morning and evening times, to widen access to anyone in the UK who wants to attend.
