Inflight Dublin has long pitched its Everhub solution as a platform for inflight entertainment and commerce. This week it extends that platform once again, integrating the FassPOS point-of-sale offering from Malaysian fintech company Soft Space.
At IFD, we believe in bringing the optimum selection of technology to an airline to deliver their desired service. Soft Space extends this further with an easy-to-deploy Order to Seat capability, coupled with a comprehensive cloud-hosted inventory and stock management capability.

Soft Space’s FassPOS solution offers cloud-based payments and settlement systems, fully integrated into a flexible point-of-sale platform. The solution is active in more than 30 countries, with a heave focus on the Asian market. Retailer, banks, and airlines have already adopted the company’s mobile payments platform which allows any device to become a payment terminal. With the IFD integration that offering can be more easily expanded to a growing collection of airlines globally.
“Soft Space is already delivering ground and air-based payment capabilities via FassPOS to a number of airlines in Asia,” explains Joel Tay, Soft Space CEO. “Our integration with Everhub will further enrich our in-air offerings, allowing passengers to now order directly from their own devices.”
With the FassPOS solution delivered via the Everhub platform airlines can easily implement order-at-seat capabilities. FassPOS handles payments and communicates orders to the crew, while also managing inventory and other critical back-office reporting functions.
