New Year’s Eve is traditionally a time to celebrate memories from the passing year and to welcome in a new one. As the end of 2020 approaches, it seems the whole world is looking forward to saying “goodbye” to a year that will certainly go down in history.

Bartlesville's Price Tower has created a festive way for the community and visitors alike to ring in 2021 in safety and style.

Price Tower Executive Director Rick Loyd says the team at the Tower wanted to provide a fun way to mark the arrival of this long-awaited New Year.

“With all everyone has been through this year, Price Tower is sadly unable to do the Olive Drop, but we want to encourage guests to still come enjoy the Tower as we celebrate a New Year,” Loyd said. “So, for New Year’s Eve this year we’re offering 20.21%  off of our hotel rooms and suites. Also, up on the 15th floor in Copper, Chef Jordan has designed an exclusive NYE menu for visitors to enjoy.”

Loyd says the safety of visitors continues to be a high priority inside Price Tower, as staff cleans and disinfects with new protocols to ensure guest safety and comfort.  In order for celebrants to enjoy Chef Jordan’s culinary creations, dining room capacity in Copper will be limited and tables spaced properly, so reservations will be required.

“New Year's Eve is the perfect opportunity for friends to stay and eat at Price Tower, and our two-story suites make for the perfect place to gather with your special group or friends,” Loyd said. “Everyone can get a hotel room that overlooks the beautiful holiday lights on Unity Square and then celebrate before and after dinner in your own private get-together … safely and in comfort. No cooking, cleaning, or driving home. Let us do all the work.”

During the slower travel months of 2020,  the Inn at Price Tower used the time to refresh and renovate guest rooms with new bedding, towels and robes. New Year’s Eve guests will not only enjoy a rate discount, but will also be treated to a complimentary bottle of champagne and two souvenir Price Tower champagne flutes. As an added bonus to the evening, Price Tower’s latest free art exhibition, Arkansas Territory, will be on display inside the art Gallery until 10 p.m. on Dec. 31.

New Year’s Eve space is limited, and visitors are encouraged to make reservations for the Inn rooms and Copper Restaurant + Bar early by calling 918-336-1000 or visiting PriceTower.org. As with all activities hosted by Price Tower, New Year’s Eve activities in the hotel, restaurant and gallery all help to support ongoing Tower operations.

“We hope you’ll please consider joining us for any or all these fantastic ways to bring in 2021 -- a year that we hope is full of exciting opportunities,” Loyd said. “And remember, every aspect of what we do, is an effort to show off this unique building … but more importantly, it's a way to help support the preservation and ongoing enhancements to celebrate art, architecture, and Frank Lloyd Wright.”
