Do you want to know the four types of content that are an absolute pain in the 🍑 to create BUT deliver amazing results? It's technically easy to create blog content. Anyone with access to their website can do it. And that means there's A LOT of mediocre content out there. So you often have to go bigger and better with your content to stand out. Here are a few ideas on how to do this: 1. Original research content 😲 This could be through surveys or analysis (for example reviewing websites and reporting back your findings). If you do this right, you can easily become the 'original source' for a particular topic, meaning lots of others will link back to your article. This can skyrocket your rankings! 2. Time saver content 🤓 We recently published an entire fill-in-the-blank email sequence for a client on their blog (for their audience to use). Their customers absolutely loved it, and it's already ranking on page one of Google. People love the stuff that saves them time, and often that's copy and paste templates or swipe files. 3. Example-led content 👀 We have spent HOURS and HOURS trawling through the internet, searching for the exact examples for our blogs. People learn from examples. They love to see how something works in action as it can help them understand how it applies to them (and no, not just using Coca-Cola as an example.) 4. Client-success content 😍 This is where you take a client's success story and use it—not as self-promotion—but to teach your audience how they can achieve the same results. Step by step, walk someone through the process you took with your client. Include the ups and downs of the process. And make sure your audience learns how you did it. Yes, you could say that someone could go away and do what you did. And some might. But there will also be people who look at it and think, 'you know what, I'm going to get an expert to do this instead!' And they'll definitely go to you! #contentmarketing #contentstrategy #contentideas #blogging

I love a good client success story and lots of great examples is the other thing. I'm in the middle of creating an Example page of Quizzes done well for my website - it's a great way to showcase my clients but also such helpful content for people to see a quiz done well and out there in the wild.

That example content is so useful. I also spend ages looking for examples for training and other stuff and it's hard work. I've also been using Socialinsider recently to find good content from specific industries, it takes a while to set up but when you have it done life gets much easier. Now I'm wondering should I write a blog post about that!

Great share and I wish more people did the original research piece. So much value to be had and those "State of [insert industry] 2022" reports, if done really well, get TONS of linkage to them.
