Some time ago, I interviewed Raf Seymus, the founder of Exellys who sold the consultancy (and now started Stellar Labs). While many consultancies speak of the importance of trust, they are usually talking about the client, not the employees. While many consultancies say their employees are their greatest asset, how many would end a contract because their consultants didn't want to work there? Raf built a company that was different, and innovatively so. That continuously invested in high quality employee development, and prioritised employee trust over everything else. The (whole) interview contributes to a book that I am writing on how small consultancies can grow successfully.
