big supermarkets: Put an end to misleading pricing
big supermarkets: Put an end to misleading pricing
Why this petition matters
We're fed up with big supermarkets using misleading tactics to get us to part with our money. Here’s just one example:
We found a major supermarket selling bags of rice for £1 a pack. Then, they increased the price to £1.58 and put it on a 2 for £3 multi-buy offer. As soon as the multi-buy offer ended, the price returned to £1.
We're not putting up with tactics like these any more. Enough is enough.
That's why Which? made a super complaint to the Competition & Markets Authority (CMA). This is one of the most powerful legal weapons we have at our disposal and it's the first time we've used it since 2011.
Back then we took on the banks and stopped their credit card surcharges. We're stepping in to protect shoppers against the underhand pricing tactics of big supermarkets.
Now we need you to back us by signing our petition. Together we can take a stand and make sure you can trust the prices you see.
