Airbus Corporate Jets plans to offer a new inflight internet option, delivered over OneWeb‘s LEO constellation, for its line of business jet installations. The two companies announced an MoU to develop the ACJ Connect Link solution at NBAA in Lax Vegas earlier this month.
Through this ground-breaking agreement, ACJ is ensuring that current and future discerning owners and passengers will experience unrivaled high-speed internet in the air, no matter where they are flying.
– Regis Broutee, VP ACJ Services & Customer Support
The companies promise high quality streaming, live television, and video conferencing on board, with lower latency and high bandwidth service packages. The connection will be delivered via a new antenna terminal solution, certified by Airbus for implementation across the full line of ACJ’s VIP jet options.
ACJ Connect Link is expected to be offerable to ACJ customers from November 2023.
