Last Monday, my wife and I had the pleasure of both attending the ceremony for director Peter Jackson getting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame® (which Andy Serkis promptly danced a little jig on top of), and then seeing Interstellar at the recently-renovated TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX.

I didn’t bring a “pro” camera with me on the trip, so please excuse the cell-phone-quality portrait of Peter Jackson receiving his Star, but check out the crazy detailed carved wood ceiling and the stone tablet props from The Ten Commandments on display at the Chinese. That theater really deserves every accolade it gets — not only was the IMAX presentation top notch, but the decor inside is simply gorgeous.

See below for a 360º panorama of the inside of the Chinese auditorium, as well as some pro video of Peter Jackson getting his star.
