The aims of this project was to develop an application that allows artist to promote their songs. This will enhance their audience and their popularity. The development focused primarily on the usability of the application.

From doing this project, I have learned how to create a hybrid app which was new to me. In University of Westminster I have learned how to create native and mobile web application, however was not taught how to create a hybrid application. By doing some research, I gained knowledge in developing hybrid app. As I have strong knowledge in web development, this allowed me to understand the hybrid technology easier. Learning about Framework7 allowed me experiment certain elements of the application like the dynamic navigation, tabs and search bar.

PhoneGap and eclipse software was new to me as I had to learn how to use both software. To do this, I went and viewed some tutorials on how get started on each application. I used Phonegap just to create a Phonegap project, once I have done that I moved on to eclipse where main editing and testing of the application was done.

One of the biggest skills I have developed throughout the project was time-management, including the important of planning in each stages of the development and allocating the amount of time in each stages.

While doing research and getting feedback, I decided to amend the project as this put me behind in the implementation stage, however using agile method I was able to do testing while implementing. This allowed me to get back get back on schedule to deliver the project on time. Deciding to change the project as one of the best decision made throughout the project there was positive feedback, see Appendix A.

Following the release of the application on Play Store allowed me to distribute the application to the audience. This also made the automatic update process easier to deploy any changes.
