There is a bit more colour to the Apple brand story: https://www.cultofmac.com/125656/this-lsd-love-guru-turned-gold-mining-billionaire-gave-steve-jobs-his-reality-distortion-field/
Global logos are fascinating indeed. Always love to learn and imagine the thoughts that went into the deeper meaning within the graphic composition and shapes. Another one worthy of world fame, in my opinion, is Anton Stankowski's DEUTSCHE BANK logo created in the early 70's. That slash within the square signaling stability and growth in one, and perhaps even drawing analogies to a piggy-bank as well. If you look at it closer, you realize the slash is in a steeper angle than 45-degrees,(and is thus not just connecting the corners ... suggesting "exceptional" growth-potential perhaps.
Love things like this! I’m looking to get the LittleTouches.com logo up there with all the above household names in the coming years.
