Choose your App Store distribution option for @publication.name.

Curated can produce a custom iOS app for your publication, which will deliver your latest issues directly to your reader's iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, and provide easy access to your full archive of back issues.

There are two distribution options for getting @publication.name in the App Store:

Option 1. Distribute entirely through Curated.
Option 2. Distribute via iTunes Connect using your own Apple Developer Program account.

This is a one-time choice and can not be altered, ensure you read and understand both options.

Option 1.

Distribute your app via Curated

  • You create and manage your app entirely on the Curated website. Curated will submit your app to the App Store on your behalf.
  • There is no additional charge for this service.
  • 'Curated' will appear in the App Store alongside your app.

Once you have made this choice, you cannot change your mind later. Your app will be attached to the Curated Apple Developer Program account, and it cannot be easily moved.

Option 2.

Use your own Apple Developer account

  • Curated will build your app for you, but you are responsible for submitting it to the App Store.
  • You need to be enrolled in the Apple Developer Program, which requires an annual fee.
  • Your name or company name will appear in the App Store alongside your app.

Once you have made this choice, you cannot change your mind later. Your will be responsible for submitting new versions to the App Store via your Apple Developer Program account.
