MASON CITY | Mason City will be featured in an upcoming CNN Travel segment focusing on the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright.
The show is being done in commemoration of 150th anniversary of Wright's birth on June 8, according to Lindsey James, executive director of Visit Mason City.
She said a CNN crew will arrive in Mason City Wednesday evening, eat dinner at the 1910 Grille and stay overnight at the Historic Park Inn.
On Thursday, their day will start with breakfast at the SuzieQ and continue with a stop at the Stockman House before heading off to other cities with ties to Frank Lloyd Wright.
James said the SuzieQ does not have a Frank Lloyd Wright connection but is a unique downtown diner that she thought the crew would enjoy.
The Historic Park Inn is the last remaining hotel designed by Wright who also designed the Stockman House.
