Important information about COVID-19:
In response to the spread of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), IAVGO has altered our service delivery approach.
We will continue to provide intake, respond to new inquiries, and provide services to ongoing clients. However, to ensure the health and safety of IAVGO staff, clients, and others, until further notice, intake appointments will be conducted over the telephone and not in person. Emergencies will be assessed on a case by case basis. We ask that people not visit our office, but contact us by telephone (416-924-6477 – AIW: 416-924-4385 – Toll Free: 1-877-230-6311). Please note that we currently do a large portion of our client work on the phone, due to our provincial mandate. As a result, the quality of service will not diminish during this time.
We are also postponing in-person public legal education and outreach meetings. We will be in touch with workers to advise as soon as the meetings can resume.
As the situation surrounding COVID-19 is rapidly changing, we will alter our approach as required. We will approach all decisions thoughtfully, taking into account advice from public health authorities, based on the best evidence available. We are committed to continuing to provide injured workers with high-quality services and hope to resume our regular practices as soon as it is safe to do so.
