Looking back on E3 2018 with the best videos

From Fallout 76 to Cyberpunk 2077

Simone de Rochefort has been producing & hosting YouTube videos for Polygon since 2016. She co-directed the upcoming documentary The Great Game: The Making of Spycraft.

E3 2018 went by in a sticky blur of exhaustion and hand sanitizer. There was a lot going on — stuff that even I missed — so I put together a digest of the required viewing to be the most cultured, up-to-date consumer of Polygon’s E3 Content (TM).

Did you know that we did a deep dive into the monsters of Fallout 76? And that we used the Cyberpunk RPGs to analyze the tidbits that CD Projekt Red dropped in the Cyberpunk 2077 trailer?

And uh, did you hear that Ridley is in Super Smash Bros. now? Brian did, and he got his reaction up a whopping 10 minutes after Nintendo’s stream. Of course, the most important journalistic effort the team made is at the top of this post: Pat and Brian’s IRL investigation of loot boxes, and the evil they contain.

Read on for the best of Polygon’s videos from E3 2018.
