We, at Restoration Saint Louis, are investing in the future and supporting the present through various real estate development programs and partnerships with both city-based and minority-owned businesses. Once neglected husks of great monuments from a bygone era are being brought back to life again with exciting new uses that range from loft apartments, restaurants, and movie theaters, to bowling alleys and luxurious boutique hotels.

Revitalizing neighborhoods is what we term “urban husbandry” namely: creating a shared vision and mission of nurturing and caring for neighborhoods from their re-birth to their becoming sustainable. This requires community support, engagement, vigilance, funding, and a buy-in from those who reside there. Our projects are much more than just a collection of rehabbed buildings but rather the shaping of a neighborhood, block by block, and creating the formation of the foundation upon which great cities thrive.

Growing, restoring and revitalizing

We hold true to our mission statement “We exist to strengthen and enhance the communities we operate in by redeveloping neglected neighborhoods and make them great places to live, work and play.”

With that truth in mind, Restoration Saint Louis has renovated numerous St. Louis buildings that were originally constructed in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. One prime example of redevelopment is the current Theresa Park Lofts which was built in 1902 and once home to the Harris Teacher’s College. This building has been thoughtfully restored and converted into thirty-five breathtaking loft apartments with magnificent views of downtown St. Louis skyline making for an exceptional living experience.

A most recent example of a large commercial renovation is that of the Louis Sullivan designed architectural landmark Union Trust Building into the luxurious and elevated Hotel Saint Louis which is the first Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel in St. Louis. The hotel channels the heart and soul of the Midwest, providing guests “The Best” of all things St. Louis.

With the focus having started in St. Louis, Missouri, there are projects in Davenport and Sioux City, Iowa, and Lake Worth, Florida which keep us engaged with the pulse of many communities.
