Co-founded by Americans Connie Lindor and Scott Muellner, PlansMatter, the architectural rental site, works along the same lines as Airbnb, but focuses on modern spaces.

The site collects architecturally-significant properties, including cabins, retreats and homes, available as vacation rentals that are hand-picked by the two architects, replete with photos and back stories.

The USP? Only homes that are designed by renowned architects would make the cut on PlansMatter.

Some of the homes listed on PlansMatter have been designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, Olson Kundig, and Rudolph Schindler. “The goal of PlansMatter is to make finding and experiencing architecturally-significant vacation rentals simple and convenient,” says Connie.
