Envoy was founded in 2006 as a developer-led company to create a place where talented individuals could build great software in a pragmatic way.
We work in a number of different languages and frameworks and believe strongly in picking the best tool for the job, rather than relying on ‘the way it’s always been done’. Most of our projects use .NET and SQL Server.
In our hiring, we believe that experience building real software and the potential to learn new skills are more important than checking off buzzwords for whatever technology is popular today. We understand developers need good tools to do a good job, which is why every developer has a Herman Miller chair, a top-of-the-line desktop machine and multiple monitors (with at least one being a Dell 30”).
We work across a diverse range of customers and industries: AACo (Agriculture) – Spirit of Tasmania (Travel) – Liquor and Gaming NSW (Gaming) – V/Line (Transport) – Cochlear (Medical devices) – Crop Risk Underwriting (Insurance) – Building Certification Systems (Construction) – Australian Federal Police (Law enforcement) – just to name a few.
Our whole team works in our Chatswood office, which creates an environment where developers can learn from each other and share ideas and experience, even though we might be working on different client projects day to day.
We are happy to support the software development community in Sydney through hosting meetups for Xamarin (Sydney Mobile .NET) and Angular JS.
Envoy is looking for .NET developers, both mid-level and senior depending on experience.
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
