A house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright is fully renovated and now open for tours.

A ribbon-cutting was held Friday at the house in Derby.

Graycliff was designed by Wright between 1926 and 1931.

The entire interior of the house has been redone.

Renovations were funded in part by a Buffalo Billion 2 investment.

Organizers say even though the house isn’t in Buffalo, it’s still part of the Queen City’s history.

“Everybody comes here because of the Frank Loyd Wright connection, and this is certainly connected to Buffalo in the sense that it was the Martins’ summer home,” Graycliff executive director Robert Wooler said. “Everyone’s aware of their house in the city, and this is the lesser know house in the country.”

The renovation saved the historic house from being torn down.
