The Alden Dow Office Museum in Lake Jackson has been closed for a year awaiting repairs.

LAKE JACKSON — City Council initiated long-awaited repairs to the Alden B. Dow Office Museum by approving funding for the work.

The city will spend about $112,000 of Community Block Development Grant funds to repair the historical museum, which is operated by the Lake Jackson Historical Association, Assistant City Manager Modesto Mundo said.
