Now, let’s look at specific areas of your rental, starting with the bedrooms.

Some of these items were already included in the above Airbnb must-have list. That’s because even if your rental is a studio and doesn’t technically have bedrooms, these items (like bedding) are Airbnb necessities. However, if your Airbnb does have a separate bedroom (or multiple), there are additional items you can include to make this space a special guest retreat.

That being said, here are all of our Airbnb ideas for bedrooms:

  • Sufficient pillows for each guest
  • Extra pillows and blankets (“just in case”)
  • Plenty of clothes hangers
  • Dresser
  • Luggage stand

  1. Haven’t you just copy and pasted the Airbnb tick list ? What would be interesting to know what items from that Airbnb list, in your opinion carry more weight 🙂 Thanks

    1. Hi Vicky,

Thanks for being the first to comment on our post!

You’re right that this list is based on the checklists provided by Airbnb, plus we’ve added in more information and ideas.

Research shows that 67% of guests choose vacation rentals over hotels because they can do their own laundry, and another 81% say that a private pool is important!

As a private swimming pool or laundry facilities may not be possible for every Airbnb host, we think above all, it’s important to provide a clean and comfortable stay – so make sure that bedroom, living, kitchen and bathroom areas are as equipped and spotless as possible. Hope that helps!

      Jess
