I am thrilled to share today’s announcement with The Coca-Cola Company to accelerate its cloud and generative AI initiatives, including across its worldwide network of independent bottlers. As part of its system-wide AI Transformation, they are investing $1.1 billion in the Microsoft Cloud and our Copilot capabilities, including Azure OpenAI Service and Copilot for Microsoft 365. Together, we will experiment with tailored solutions to improve customer experiences and streamline operations. We will also focus on reimagining its marketing, manufacturing, and supply chain initiatives. This #EarthDay, I’m taking a moment to reflect on all the incredible sustainability progress over the last year and celebrate the people behind it. Addressing climate change requires action from each and every one of us. As I talk to employees, customers, partners, innovators, and policy makers, I see progress everywhere. From better measuring and monitoring ecosystems with AI to protect biodiversity, to advancing green software that reduces energy consumption, to developing tools that help advance green skills for workers around the world. Every day, people are finding ways to think bigger, move faster, and take action to protect the future of our planet. But our work is not done. To avoid the most severe impacts of climate change, we need to work together to build new solutions, advance markets, and accelerate policies that will help provide greater impact at scale.
